SPAGHETTO'S: Reviews & Ratings
First off, every reviewer with a 1 or 2 star review becuase they charge a lot for water.... Welcome to Rome. Prices are much higher for things when you are in the tourist center. Second, we've eaten all across Italy, we had the Lagsana and cacio e pepe, and for $9.90 each, it was the delicious and a great value for its location in the heart of Rome. Service was great and we have a wonderful meal outdoors with leather seating. Must try, and if you are upset about the cost of aqua, well, you're better off staying home because Rome is not the place for you, just get the wine. We loved it, thanks for a great meal.
We ate pizza, 4 types, and the crust was a bit too burn for our taste. Service average. But the venue was really good.
I don't understand the bad ratings, probably some frustrated people, but the food was really delicious! I had the Carbonara and it was one of the best I had (don't listen to the bad reviews that are saying the Carbonara is bad) The waiter was very friendly. If I can give 1 comment, the drinks are a bit expensive in comparison to the food (but that was not expensive at all (10,90 for the Carbonara). So don't listen to the bad reviews, my whole family enjoyed the food! (A picture of my empty plate that was a really big portion!)

SPAGHETTO'S stands as a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Rome, on V. della Croce. This restaurant offers an authentic Italian dining experience that captures the essence of Roman cuisine with carefully crafted dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. At SPAGHETTO'S, the spotlight shines brightly on traditional recipes with a twist — from the creamy, homemade Carbonara with fresh pasta to the richly flavored Lasagne Al Forno and the perfectly balanced Amatriciana. Each dish reflects the mastery of Italian gastronomy, using high-quality ingredients and preserving time-honored techniques.
The Rigatoni Carbonara is a standout, praised by many for its deep, savory notes and the comforting texture of the pasta made in-house. The complexity of the flavors delivers a satisfying harmony that lingers long after the last bite. Similarly, the Amatriciana is a celebration of tomato, guanciale, and pecorino — simple yet bold, paying homage to its Roman roots. For pizza lovers, SPAGHETTO'S offers the Capriccio and Caprese, each with a unique character, although some diners have noted the crust may verge on overcooked. Nevertheless, the richness of toppings and freshness of ingredients make them worth trying.
One can’t overlook the seafood delicacy — the Soup of Big Mussels in a Wine Soup — an exquisite dish that showcases the freshness of the sea with aromatic wine-infused broth, adding depth and elegance to the meal. Those seeking variety will appreciate the Tabla de Quesos and the inventive takes like "Dovrebbe Essere Una Cacio E Pepe Ma È Tutto Tranne Questo," revealing the kitchen's creativity and willingness to surprise the palate.
The ambience complements the culinary offerings with outdoor leather seating that invites patrons to savor their meals while soaking in the vibrant Roman atmosphere. The service, generally friendly and attentive, enhances the dining experience, making guests feel welcomed and valued.
While some might find the pricing on beverages, especially water, steep, this reflects the prime tourist location rather than the quality or value of the food served. For an authentic taste of Rome, SPAGHETTO'S provides excellent value, serving hearty portions of traditional dishes that satisfy both appetite and soul.
In summary, SPAGHETTO'S embodies a genuine Roman trattoria spirit.
